I have always created and have always had
ideas, shapes and colors in my mind.

Knitting and sawing is a big part of my life. I've knitted for about 20 years and sawing from time to times in periods since I was growing up on my mother's sawing machine. I bought my own in 2002.

I live in a town in Sweden (Norrköping). I'm a city-person so I like it here. What would I do without the yarn-stores? I get my inspiration from everything all around us, from all the stores in town, from the nature, etc. I get most inspiration to new bags, shapes and colors I see, what I might do different.

 

Bags are my passion! Have no clue how many bags I've actually made, fortunate for me most of them have been sold so I don't really drown in bags at home (well, that depends on the definition I suppose, I love bags). I have done enough bags to call myself a bag-designer!
My hobby has taken me where I am today; it's what I live with. I breathe creativity. I have many projects in my mind and many more comes each day! Sometimes the ideas is growing in my mind until a finished product wants to see the light, sometimes the products can't wait to be created. That's what I love. From that tiny idea that develops, to a finished product in my hand. I love the creative process.  

An idea usually starts with one thought: "why not?" Something difficult really puts me in a creative place where I want to solve the problems in the design and create the product. That's why I once knitted a plastic box. Not that I needed it, but I asked myself "why shouldn't it be possible".

 

My signature style in three words: "simple is beautiful".

I'm not the one who knit complex patterns every day. Sure, it happens, sometimes it's the right thing. And sometimes it's more beautiful with a clean design.

When I design bags, I like details that distinguish. Bags, I think, should be easy in the design and easy to use. But I also like to bring something that is special in the design. It can be a color, a detail perhaps. 

The best about a designed bag just for you is - you are the only one who has it! It's the only bag in the world, and you own it. Because, I don't make two bags the same.
That's why I can say my bags are unique!
